Pobeda to halt Italy, Aeroflot to cut Korea, China, Vietnam flights
MOSCOW, Mar 10 (PRIME) -- Russian low-cost airline Pobeda will suspend all flights to Italy from Wednesday, and its parent airline holding Aeroflot will reduce the number of flights to China, Korea, Vietnam and Italy, the companies said in their statements on March 8 and March 6 respectively.
“Aeroflot is temporary changing the schedule of flights to China, Korea, Vietnam and Italy due to declining demand,” the company said.
“Pobeda… is suspending flights from Moscow to Bergamo, Rome, Rimini, Pisa, Treviso from March 11 till March 31, 2020 due to the entry prohibition for the territory of Lombardy, Rimini, Treviso and other provinces by the Italian government,” Pobeda said.
Aeroflot will also cut the number of flights to Tehran to one per week, starting from March 8.
